BRN stands for Business Registration Number, BRN is a unique identification number assigned to the businesses in Rajasthan, which legally assures the business to get various state as well as central government benefits.

In the year 2023, the State government of Rajasthan re-engineered the BRN system and brought in a new regime by name Sanstha Aadhar (SAN), and with this, a simplified system of identification of business for ease in obtaining benefits or services related to various sectors. Now, all enterprises will be given a 16-digit Sanstha Aadhaar number.

How to Apply for BRN
Step-by-Step BRN/SAN Registration Process
BRN Registration /SAN Registration Process is a 12 Step Process as you can see below
- Go to Sanstha Aadhaarregistration website https://www.br.raj.nic.in
- Select “Apply Sanstha Aadhaar” under “Registration” menu.
- Select on the type of Institutions as shown in the image below
- Read the Instruction & Agree with That for BRN Registration
- Fill the mobile number and E-mail Id of applicant for Authentication. Applicant will receive ‘6 digit’ OTP on mobile no and Email ID.
Enter OTP and Submit to proceed.
- IDENTIFICATION PARTICULARS (Place Of Office) All Fields with is compulsory. If selected area type as ‘Rural’ then select ‘Village’ from list.
- IDENTIFICATION PARTICULARS (APPLICANT/NODAL OFFICER DETAILS)
- Select ‘ID Proof Type’ from list
- If ‘Aadhaar Card’ is selected, enter 12 digit AadhaarNo. and Click on ‘Verify’ button
- ‘6 digit’ OTP will be sent to registered mobile no.
- Enter received OTP and click on ‘Submit’ button
- Note : Upload scanned signature in JPG 50 KB maximum size • Applicant may use other ID also for registration
- Fill all the details and click continue to proceed.
- Note: Fill all details of Institution only and not personal.

- Act details
- Note: Fill Act details If Institution in registered in any Act. else leave blank.
- Select Registration Act whichever is applicable
- Enter Registration no. and select RegistrationYear and validUp to Year from list if Institution have registration no. else leave blank
- Enter remarks (if any)
- Check ‘Declaration’.
- After filling all details enter Captcha as shown then click on ‘Submit’ button.
- Act details
- After submitting application successfully, Sanstha Aadhaar no.(or Reference No., in case applied through other ID Proof) is issued
- Sanstha Aadhaar No. is also send to applicant Mobile no. and Email ID

How to Download BRN Certificate
Following this registration process, the enterprises shall be permitted to download their BRN certificate from the official Sanstha Aadhaar portal. The certificate acts as proof of registration and has its own utilities for several other legal and financial purposes.
